| The History of the store: Kate's was founded in 2001. Kate's was one of the very first true furniture consignment stores to open in North Central Massachusetts. Kate's first opened its doors at 45 Main Street and moved to its current location in 2008 doubling its space. Kate's has been known throughout the years for its consistency in carrying fine quality furniture and home decor. As of April 1st, 2010, Life-Skills Inc. became the new owners. We are dedicated in our efforts to maintain the quality that people have come to expect. Our mission is to improve the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. |
